Paul is author of Hunters and Bureaucrats: Power, Knowledge and Aboriginal-State Relations in the Southwest Yukon. He has worked for many years with the Kluane First Nation, examining cultural assumptions that participants bring to land claim negotiations. He is an associate professor at Cornell University.
