Tłı̨chǫ Government Award in Whatì for Dora Nitsiza
Tłı̨chǫ Government Award luncheon was held on Wednesday, February 15, 2017 in Whatì at the Mezi Community School. Celebrating the remarkable life of the late Dora Nitsiza for preserving and enhancing the Tłı̨chǫ Way of Life. Her daughter, Cecilia Nitsiza accepted the award on behalf of her late mother, Dora Nitsiza, of Whatì for Culture Heritage and Spirituality category. 2017 nomination forms are available at all Tłı̨chǫ Government offices and at tlicho.ca.
